Come Fish For Sharks and Experience the Thrill!

The shark fishing around Galveston Island is excellent. Every since Texas Parks and Wildlife enacted laws to protect these magnificent creatures the fishing has gotten even better. The most common sharks we catch are the Black Tip and Spinner Sharks. Their acrobatic jumps are spectacular and will leave you awe struck. Their strength and thumb blistering speed will leave you breathless after a fight. These sharks range from 10-100 plus pounds. There are larger sharks that like to test your skill and endurance too. Hammerhead, Bull, and Tiger sharks get big and when you set the hook, they get very angry! These battles can last hours so each your Wheaties before setting the hook. We have many repeat customers for these trips and each time they bring different friends to enjoy the fight of a lifetime.

Coinciding with Texas Parks and Wildlife regulations I like to release most sharks. I don't have a problem keeping one now and again to eat, but the majority are returned. Honestly, it fills my heart with pride as we're watching a released shark swim away and my client tells me "That's the biggest fish I have ever caught"
